Welcome to the
St. Joseph Worker Program!

The St. Joseph Worker Program is a one year volunteer experience for women who are passionate about social change. St. Joseph Workers (SJWs) commit to a year of service during which they delve into the core values of justice, leadership, spirituality, and living simply in an intentional community. Explore the facets that make this program unique by clicking on the photos below

The St. Joseph Worker program is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Since 1650, these women have followed the Gospel call to make known God's love in the midst of the world.  Their life together leads them to work for social justice and to "love and serve God and neighbor without distinction."

The values of the St. Joseph Worker program are founded on the values of the Sisters of St. Joseph. They live out this mission by:

1. Working within diverse communities that address the needs of the poor and marginalized.
2. Mentoring the Workers into leadership for social change.
3. Deepening the spirituality through the support of the Sisters of St Joseph and local community.
4. Developing intentional community committed to living simply and to just relationships.

So...

If you have a heart for justice...
If you are concerned about others...
If you want to make an impact on the world...

then come work with us!
